Not everything Maria makes starts with a hook. This line of toys is cut and stitched at the sewing machine from a medley of fabrics — florals, waves, stripes, tweed, corduroy — so little hands find a different texture at every touch, and little eyes find a new color everywhere they look. The mix is the point: each toy is a small feast of visual stimulation for a child, and no two are ever alike.
